Digitization, and personal contact. What’s wrong with tusks? they are not clear

Work equipped with the latest technologies, smartphones and computers that allow people to work together without even having to meet. This is the reality in many companies today. What about the employees?

Nearly 60 percent of people confirm

It is clear that technology is less important and affects the way we work. But as the latest Randstad Workmonitor survey has shown, digitization is far from what is as expected. Personal contact as the best form of communication is preferred by 90 percent of Czech employees. They make mistakes when interacting with colleagues in the work environment.

The growing influence of technology on the way we receive, work and have fun, not just positives. In the survey, 56 percent of employees admitted that the digitization of many connections connected with people in the real world was known, and 45 percent of respondents said they seemed more detached from their co-workers.

The reason is the number of personal meetings at work. And 60 percent of employees claim that they have significantly lost their meetings and meetings in recent years.

Modern technologies are an important part of our lives and their influence will increase, whether we like it or not. They can act faster, more efficiently and more accurately, but it is always necessary to keep in mind that the very essence of communication and cooperation speaks in interaction, perception and understanding. The human side should not disappear from the work environment, because that is what really makes it stronger, comments the results of the survey by Randstad CEO Hana Pllov.

I can’t do that, tell the people

The problem for many employees is not only the lack of personal contact, but also the lack of technical information and knowledge. In the survey, 52% of Czech workers agreed that they would need to put their knees together so that they could keep up with technical developments and be able to really do what they offered.

The results of our research also provide important information to employers. It is not just a matter of providing people with the most modern means, it is also necessary to make sure that they can use them first. Investments not only in technology, but also in technical education of employees should be part of the policy of any company that wants to go with the times, or go better, beat it a bit, adds Hana Pllov.

And how do technologies affect the overall state of society? According to the opinion, 62% of Czech employees become human. Only 39% of respondents think that technical development, on the contrary, due to its global reach, could contribute to its humanization. Interestingly, in this respect, they have proved to be the most skeptical nation of the 34 countries in which Randstad conducted the Workmonitor survey.
